TRIAD LOCAL FIRST is a non-profit membership organization based in Greensboro, North Carolina, with over 360 members - retail shops, real estate agents, insurance brokers, marketing and advertising firms, accountants, dentists, restaurants, farmers, breweries, and more.

The Mission of Triad Local First, a network of locally owned and independent businesses in North Carolina's Triad, is to share a commitment to building a strong local economy and a vibrant, unique community.

We worked with a collaborative team that we lovingly call “The Marketeers” to take a new look at an annual program TLF has been facilitating around the Holidays. Buy Local Season has always been a month-long campaign to grow awareness and remind shoppers that there are local businesses who have the perfect gifts for all of your loved ones. This year, “The Marketeers” banned together to bring a new brand and a digital twist to this season.

…And we are here to light up the LOCAL Holiday spirit.

“Remember when holiday shopping was fun, filled with lights and hot cocoa and that feel good, giving feeling? Well we are bringing it back and in a bigger, brighter, way that's closer to home and our community. Triad Local First is bringing you Buy Local season from November 15th through December 31st. In addition to all of our favorite local small businesses sharing gift tips, we will have Saturday Strolls, trolley rides around town, and more fun activities for the whole family.”

We are just wrapping up a campaign managed by Jordan Lacenski, owner of BrandBoss Creative, and could not be more pleased.

From the moment we sat down with Jordan and her team, she listened, went to work and delivered a seasonal campaign for our nonprofit that is having measurable results. Jordan pulled together local talent, which was very important to us, to plan and help execute marketing that included strategy, education for our team, artwork, videos, events, and a press release.

We have begun to get reports of the measurables as the campaign winds down…and can see that this campaign is having an even greater impact than we had hoped. And the entire effort included lots of fun as we worked together. Jordan Lacenski and her “marketeers” at BrandBoss Creative are without question a team we would hire again and recommend to create and deliver a successful campaign for (y)our company or nonprofit.
