Homeless shelter exceeds fundraising goal

Every now and then, there is a need and you have to take some small part to meet it. The non-profits of Northwest Florida are near and dear to our hearts. When Opportunity Place called us and told us they had lost a large percentage of their funding, we jumped at the chance to help with an urgent capital campaign. Just three months ago, we learned that the shelter needed a minimum of $85,000 to keep its doors open. We implemented a "Save The Shelter" campaign at no cost in an effort to allow this shelter to continue to serve a community in need. This campaign was able to raise the goal and then some, a total of $110,000. To see the community come together to exceed their goal in order to keep their doors open is not only an encouragement, but also makes us proud to work with such an amazing organization.

Opportunity Place is where new beginnings becomes a reality for women and families.
They believe every woman, child and family has the innate right to be safe and an opportunity to succeed in life.  They are committed to helping women and families achieve independence and self-sufficiency.
